Andrea Critchfield received her MS in Counseling from Kansas State University and a BS in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin.
Andrea has over fifteen years experience working with "Displaced Homemakers," assisting them in their transition to the workplace through Career Life Planning, both one-on-one and in workshops. She loves to work with clients in the career assessment process, especially with the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She can say, with certainty, that this work is her calling.

Maria PetersonCareer Counselor
Maria Peterson received her MA in Educational Psychology with a focus on community counseling and her BA in Communications and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
Maria has over twelve years of experience providing community outreach, assessments, individualized plans, counseling, skills training, referrals to community resources, client advocacy and support. Maria knows that when a client is provided with the opportunity to tell his or her career story to a career counselor, it can be a powerful process that can result in the client feeling empowered and regaining his or her self-confidence. Maria is passionate about listening to and providing clients with the tools they need to achieve their career goals.

Daniel SwalmExecutive Director
Daniel Swalm earned his MSE in Guidance and Counseling at University of Wisconsin and holds an MBA Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of St. Thomas. He also holds twin BA degrees in English and Sociology from Augsburg College.
Daniel has twenty five years of experience in career guidance, adult career development and vocational and psychological testing. An expert in assessing the implications of psychological type in the workplace, he is passionate about providing assistance to individuals who have experienced unexpected or unwelcome mid-life transitions, helping them refocus, rebuild and renew their careers.
